Yeah, I've got this bug again, and honestly it's annoying as hell!
I'm trying to open an Xpression package created on one machine (with version 9.5) with another machine in designer (also version 9.5), and I just get this message that there's an error (exception). No really?

Could you put down any less describing error message?
It litterly gives me nothing to go on.

Any hints/clues would be very nice to get.

    - And yes, Xpression is being run as administrator rights.
    - Yes, the package was exported with Xpression with all files.
    - Yes I've done this a thousand times before.
    - Yes I've even tried copying the entire folder without creating a package. Same issue.
    - Yes, the project file AND package is opened just fine on the original machine (a graphite btw)

Can you run the XPression log collector and upload the logs from within the log collector?   I could take a look.

    Hi Aleksander,

We see that commonly when the project requires a lot of system memory to load. Are you running the 32-bit version of Designer? That would be capping your available memory and stopping you from loading the project fully.

Here's a link to the 64-bit Version of Designer to try if you happen to need it.

If you run into any issues please don't hesitate to reach out to techsupport@rossvideo.com and we'll be happy to help out!

    Thanks
    Flint

    I didnt do anything different.

And today it worked. I didnt change a single thing.
And yes, I was using the 64-bit version, the exact same version and build you linked me actually.

Can you define what is concidered "a lot of system memory" in this case? And where does the limit go?
