Hi Guys

Could you guys please explain how I would Link Dashboard to Xpression for real time graphics? I would like my stats to be output straight from my dashboard panel onto a graphic.

Hi Dennis.

The quick answer is:
-Create Parameters inside of DashBoard
-In your Custom panel enable the Xpression DataLinq Streaming option (It's in the top node of your custom panel in the DashBoard Custom Panel editor)
-Connect XPressions Datalinq software to DashBoard inside of Datalinq
-In your XPression templates link Datalinq fields to your templates

Any changes made in those parameters in DashBoard are instantly published live through Datalinq to those templates even if they are on the air.

There is an older video we made showing this, please bear in mind that the versions of XPression and DashBoard shown are actually out of date in it, but, the basic principles are the same.
For Datalinq it is pretty much the same process.

For sending Take commands etc.. to XPression there are actually improved workflows within DashBoard using Visual Logic that we have created since that Video that I would suggest you use.
(Yes... we really should update some of those DashBoard U videos... :-)
