    Hi all!

I'm having issues getting DashBoard to send data from my DashBoard Panel on one computer to my XPression Unit. I've had this working before and now it's just stopped. I can control buttons that bring graphics on and off but none of the data is being sent over (I'm working on a Baseball Score Bug and I can't get the scores, inning number, Ball/Strike Count, etc. to send over).

I checked everything on my DataLinq server (IP Address and Port) and they all match up with what I set my DashBoard computer to send. Both the computer I'm using DashBoard on and the XPression Unit are on the same network with different IP Addresses.

    Any suggestions?

When you open the DataLinq server, what does it show for its connection to DashBoard?

    Okay, it has a connection.
If you click Browse in DataLinq to see the data, what do you get?
Empty? Old data? Correct data? Incorrect data?

No Data. I have had times where it shows incorrect data but once I change the port number it would be fixed; this time it shows no data. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing DashBoard and that hasn't worked either.

A port conflict would have been my first guess in that situation...
Are you sending your information to DataLinq via an "XML DataLinq Source" or via the "DashBoard DataLinq Source"?

If you are using the "DashBaord DataLinq Source", you've changed the port to something else but have you also changed it on the custom panel's streaming port to a different one too?

Glad you got it working, Mike.

You might want to familiarize yourself with the Netstat application - it is command-line application that allows you to see which process is listening on which port. The command would be "netstat -a -b" (you would need to run as admin).

If you have a port that doesn't seem to work, the app can tell you who is already using it.
