  • 1.  Custom__Dashboard panel to control Carbonite MiniME bus

I'm trying to set up a custom Dashboard panel to allow an operator to control a select number of sources on a MiniME row on our Carbonite MultiMedia.

Using the drag and drop panel builder, can someone give me a clue how to seperate the preset and background buttons so I can drag individual buttons into my new panel.

At the moment, when I drag a single background source to a new custom dashboard, the single button becomes the entire source row. (All 24 inputs plus all internal inputs)

I just want to pick approx 6 sources . How do I do that?

Yes this can be done. I have made many panels and have not had any problems separating the buttons. It might be better to talk to you about this. You can E:Mail me at rjpralle@mbcocala.org. I will send you some pix of panels I have made. Robert

    Hey Alex,

The problem your facing is when you drag and drop the Parameter onto your CustomPanel its displaying all the constraint values at once. What you'll have to do is override the constraint values and delete the ones that you don't need to show up. You can do this by:

    On your CustomPanel

    1) Double Click on the parameter to open up the Edit Component window

2)Under The Parameter settings tab there should be an Override Constraint check-box

    3) Click on the check-box to enable the ability to override constraint values

    4) Delete the constraint values that are not necessary for your use case.

If you have anymore questions, please let us know and we'll get a response out to you as soon as we can.

    Thank you,

    Sadman

Sadman, thanks, what you have suggested has been my work around, I have been hoping for a less cumbersome method (like the demo videos)

Other buttons like the CUT and AUTO have been no problem dragging and dropping.

    Robert

I'll send you an email , I'm curious how you have worked around this problem adding individual PRESET buttons from a Carbonite without adding the whole lot.
