Hello!

I am very new to the video switching world but I'm eager to learn all I can. I have been fiddling around with the Carbonite 2me and I figured out how to change the color of the whole board at once but i can't for the life of me find out how to change certain parts of the board. I have seen plenty of people online that have the top half one color and the bottom half another. How do I do this? Preferably through the built in UI since I don't have access to Dashboard at the moment. Thank you!

Hello Jack!

In the MENU -> USER -> SCHEME -> NEXT menu, you have the ability to load premade color schemes which will give each ME row it's own color.

The scheme menu also allows you to create your own color scheme for the panel. At this time, when creating your own color scheme, it makes all rows on the panel the same color.

Hey Jack,

The scheme menus are not in Dashboard. You'll have to change the colors of the panel from the panel menu.

MENU - USER - SCHEME

Once you change your Hue/Sat/Lum levels, you can hit NEXT twice to get to the Save part of the menu. There are four custom spots in which to save your color scheme.

Again, custom schemes do not allow you to create individual button or row colors.

Thank you for the swift reply! If you don't mind me asking, how is it that I see other people change the color of an ME? Some people have certain rows certain colors. If it isn't possible on my machine, that is fine. Thank you for your help regardless.

It's entirely possible that what you're looking at is one of the pre-made schemes that we provide in the Carbonite. Some of those schemes have colors for each MLE row. You can find these under:

MENU - USER - SCHEME - NEXT, which should get you to the "load" menu. Scroll through and check them out.
