Would like to know if I could "remotely" sign in while on the road with my laptop and connect to the truck in order to see or even build stuff for other operators when they call me asking for help.

If you can, can you please explain how.

Hi Gordon,

The easiest way I can think of achieving this is to use one of the many remote desktop technologies that are available and use your lap top to take control of a dashboard client machine that's physically located in the truck.

Alternatively, you could get a VPN connection into the truck. I regularly access equipment in our Ottawa lab from my home office in San Antonio using this method.
