  • 1.  Import an Excel sheet into a table

    Hi guys.
I'm afraid I already have an answer. Still, I'm asking the question:

is it possible to import a .xls sheet into a table in Dashboard so I can have an overview or my team players?
If yes, can I, somehow, select a particular entry and send it to Xpression (radio button maybe).

    Thanks for your answers.

If it is in xls format, you're going to have a hard time using it directly. You'll have a much easier time working with your data if it is in XML format.
Fortunately, there are several ways to export the spreadsheet to XML

If you go to Save As, you can one option (which will leave things editable in Excel) is "XML Spreadsheet 2003". This format gives an XML representation for each cell in the spreadsheet.
For a better way of converting your data to XML, there is a bit more work involved but the XML is MUCH nicer. You can read more about that here: "‹https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-an-XML-data-file-and-XML-schema-file-from-worksheet-data-e35400d4-0e10-4669-9a50-59a8c57d677e

Another option is to save your excel data to *.CSV format (comma-separated values). This would be much easier to read/parse inside of DashBoard and write to parameters you're syncing with XPression.
