    Inside Visual Logic: [LIST=1]
  • Create a button, give it a name, select "OK"
  • Double-click on the button
  • In the task area on the right side of the editor, select "Add"
  • On the left side of the Visual Logic editor, select the green "+"
  • Select "Add Acuity"
  • Bonus points for selecting "Create Parameter" for the IP Address instead of "Fixed Value".

Please let me know if you run into any issues.

Make sure you enabled an incoming RossTalk (ROSS TALK IN) port on the switcher? You would want to make sure it is 1. enabled at all and 2. set as an incoming (server) port, not an outgoing (client) port.

That is perfect thank you! I have gotten it to recall memories and perform transitions. Is there a way to enable to effects dissolve on the memory as well as the effects rate? I have a memory that takes 500 frames to dissolve to the next. I am masking a screen using the switcher. When the screen is lowered to full size it takes roughly 500 frames to do that. I use a key and DVE to mask the raised screen. My memory releases the mask at the same rate of the screen lowering.

I know you can specify the transition rate before triggering the actual transition. As for anything beyond simple memory recalling, I'm not sure but I don't believe so. Beyond the set of commands you see under API in Visual Logic, I would recommend posting the to the Acuity section of the forum to see if there are other capabilities that you could access by manually-entering a RossTalk command (last option in the API list).
