Just a quick and simple suggestion for a future DashBoard update.
As some of you might've caught, I've been working on a DashBoard for hockey media cube production for a while now. And while I have the main core set up, the project just keeps on evolving and expanding as I see more and more ways to build upon what I allready have.
In that regard. I think I'm about to hit about 150 different parameters now. And while I do try to do my best in naming them so I can find them again easier later on... At a certain point they kinda get a bit overwhelming.
So, might I suggest the following:
- When picking, looking over or grabbing a parameter, would be really nice to have a "search" field.
You allready have this in the visual logic part, so it's basically allready there, but I would very much like one in the "parameters" list where I can modify my parameters, and in the ogScripts Script Palette when looking at the "Param List".
- Add folders in the parameter structure. It would be so nice to be able to sort all my parameters related to stats, or all my parameters related to GFX control into a folder for easier browsing later on. Doesnt have to be ANYTHING but cosmetic for the user interface. But at least let me organise it myself into sub-folders that I can minimize if I so wish.
Just making things easier on us when things start to grow rather large...
Anyhow, that's just my two cents for today!
