Should we upgrade? We have been using 6.1.0 and I don't want to mess up any of our current panel grids.

In general, we always recommend updating to the latest release of DashBoard to maximize your support of devices and get access to the latest enhancements and bug fixes.

If you are at all nervous about the upgrade, you can make a copy of your DashBoard directory before you run the installer and, if you run into issues, simply delete the content of the new DashBoard directory and copy your 6.1 content back (DashBoard does not install anything outside of its directory on Windows).

We work very hard to make sure that new versions of DashBoard maintain backward compatibility and run numerous tests on old panels and devices before each release. That said, if you do encounter any differences in how your panels run, please contact us so we can assess (and hopefully address) the issue.

If you're worried about your custom panels themselves, then you could also make copies of those in a backup folder before you update (in fact, this is often a good idea to do even if you aren't installing an update)
