This one is 5 years old I see, but I'll still chime in on this one...

1. I've used the LTC-MIDI reader/converter here for this purpose:

   Can be set up to read timecode LTC on audio input, and then forward that timecode as a UDP over network. Tried and tested.
2. I was just wondering, is there a better solution for this today? Do we have any other way to actually get the timecode into DashBoard other than a network listener?
3. If the listener is still the only option, what is the best way to add this listener without interfering with the main exec in a DashBoard?
