- What do you mean "No"? It has worked for me in both generating LTC based on system clock, and been able to take LTC input on audio card and resend on UDP.
- OK, then the above sollution is a way to get LTC into dashboard.
- Yeah, Just had that talk with James as well earlier.

Hi Aleksander,
Here are my answers.
- No ,
- we haven't tried with others,
- Listener only, Listener runs on its own thread and doesn't interfere with DashBoard

This one is 5 years old I see, but I'll still chime in on this one...
- I've used the LTC-MIDI reader/converter here for this purpose:
https://www.videotoolshed.com/handcrafted-timecode-tools/ltc-midi-readerconverter/
Can be set up to read timecode LTC on audio input, and then forward that timecode as a UDP over network. Tried and tested. - I was just wondering, is there a better solution for this today? Do we have any other way to actually get the timecode into DashBoard other than a network listener?
- If the listener is still the only option, what is the best way to add this listener without interfering with the main exec in a DashBoard?

Hi Sebastien.
DashBoard only takes input via TCP/IP or UDP. If you have a device that can serve you timecode information that way, it should be possible to bring it into a Custom Panel via a tag.
