What is the proper method to change the text foreground color in a dropdown menu?

Every other field I can get rid of the white backgrounds and use white text, but for some reason dropdown lists and Tree Popup widgets don't respond to foreground font color changes.

At present, this property cannot be set in a combo box and I do not have a simple workaround to expose it for you. I will add the feature request into out database.

Thanks James! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I may try to work the UI a bit so I can use a different choice selector. That white (or really light) BG is really bugging my OCD. Haha

Just to follow up, I ended up using the popup and then building an ABS component with the parameter displayed as a list (20) in the pop up. When you make a selection in the param. ogscript.hide() is called to close the pop up and ogscript.rename(popid, this.getValue()) to change the name of the button to the selected item. Works pretty well, and gets rid of white drop down boxes in my UI. Now, if I could just change the background color of the entire popup, not just the ABS component....

The colour around the outside of the popup is a border and isn't currently configurable.
The good news is that we will have the foreground issue you previously-reported addressed in the next release of DashBoard (due to release very soon).

I can provide you access to a beta build if you'd like (though you'll want to switch to the release build when it is made available).

@jamespeltzer Awesome, thanks for the link. Release notes look really interesting. Can you tell me more about RossTalk EX? Is their a minimum Xpression Version required? Does it require any licensed components?
