Probably an easy answer, but yeah... When creating a listener, you have the option of checking a box that says "show start/stop toggle button"...

Uhm...

What happens to this button? Where is it?

If you take it out of the tag, you will see it and be able to style/size/position it. The problem is that the tag is guaranteed to never actually return any user interface components.
