This seems to be a common problem for a lot of applications, but if you run Dashboard on a Microsoft Surface running Windows 10 with the default settings (2736x1834 resolution, 200% scale), the program does not seem to respect the scaling and all text/buttons become too small to use. The only solution I have found is to dumb down the resolution to something like 1920x1080 while I use Dashboard then put it back after.
