  • 1.  Get Xpression tally into DashBoard

    In the video above, we see a demo of a DashBoard for Cricket.
    At the center they have a smart little canvas/button that changes from green with "Safe", to red with "On Air" as the graphics are taken online/preview and not.
    Just wondering how I would go about and get the same info from Xpression?

    Or is this a simple change based on "TAKE" and "CLEAR" in DashBoard?
    I mean, it would be really nice to have a "On Air" warning, until the graphic is done playing, including the OUT animation.

    In the case of this example, it is simply responding to which button was pressed.
    I should note that with DashBoard 8.4's new XPression Plug-in and the XPression DashBoard API available as a licensed feature in XPression 8.0, you can actually see the on-air state of each item in the sequencer (which is closer to what you're asking for).

    Sunil, in Dashboard 8.4 or later, click the green '+' to add a new panel, and you'll find it under 'XPression'. However, you'll need to contact Ross sales to obtain a license to use it. I don't have pricing info yet (I've made the same inquiry just now).
