  • 1.  Controlling other switchers from Dashboard

    Hi, at the risk of bursting into flames...
    I have a need to integrate a For.A HVS-392WOU switcher into an existing system with Dashboard. I've been told that it is possible but I'm hitting a wall in Dashboard. Is this possible?

    @davemarksTD DashBoard is capable of sending messages to control devices via TCP/IP or UDP (with variants to send binary byte arrays or ASCII strings) as well as HTTP connections for RESTFUL API. ogScript and Visual Logic both have functions capable of creating any of these message types.

    With this in mind, your first step would be to investigate what sort of control messages are available for your 3rd-party device.
