  • 1.  Use RossTalk to control multiple Xpressions

    Hi everyone

    I would like to use a single button to send a TAKE command to 2 separate XPression machines. I am outputting the same graphic on 2 machines where the scenes are styled slightly differently. Instead of having 2 operators, I want to have a single dashboard panel that can talk to the 2 machines. Is it possible?

    Should be fairly easy to accomplish... When in the TASK and visual Logic, add two separate XPression devices with the green + sign on the left and just add whatever blocks to the visual Logic that you need for both XPressions...

    I figured it out. It was even easier than that. In Tasks --> RossTalk, you just enter the IP addresses of each machine you want to control. Then select the machine you want and add the task. Repeat. No visual logic needed.

    Yeah that works too!
    I'd still recommend taking a look at the visual Logic way. Way more options and dynamic ways to do what you're trying to achieve.

    But, if what you got works, then that is perfect!
