Is there a way to have a web browser frame automatically log in to a web page on a machine that requires a login?  I've tried the deprecated method of http://<username>:<password>@<ipaddress> - but kinda expected it to fail - and it did.

Instead I was wondering if there is a way to pass the security credentials in properly?

What platform are you on?   It appears to work for us when using the browser tag in Windows.

Are you saying you can get the login to work with http://<username>:<password>@<ipaddress>?

    I'm running DB9 on Windows 10 (1909).

    Hi Dan

I tested it against my home router's configuration page (which has a prompt for username/password) and, on Windows 10 using the <browser/> tag, was able to get it to work with the username/password embedded in the URL.

Ultimately its up to the developer of the website whether that's allowed or not.

Yes - just did a little research and indeed you are correct.  Thank you - this set me straight!
