Have a 3rd party coming in with a disguise system, plan is to fire a command from the disguise timeline to trigger a button on our dashboard server. I have tried setting up TCP and a UDP string, but have had no luck. When sending the TCP I get a return packet. So I think that Dashboard server is unable to interpret command.

    Any Ideas

    Cheers

Trying to do exactly the same, but on the other end. Trying to trigger a third party Ross Dashboard from our Disguise server.

We fixed it by running a laptop with Companion, so disguise triggers Companion and Companion triggers Ross Dashboard. For some reason, even when we duplicated the string coming from Companion in disguise, disguise still wouldn't trigger Dashboard.

    Hi Tom and Caleb

Are your strings from Disguise terminated with carriage returns and line feeds? Those are the end-of-message markers for the RossTalk GPI triggers expected by DashBoard.

If you are unable to trigger that way, you may want to investigate using the HTTP triggers in DashBoard as an alternative.

    Cheers
