  • 1.  TSL UMD 5 with Dashboard Tally Service

    Hi,

    I'm working on a TSL UMD v5 service and have been using the Dashboard Tally Service to test it. Even though I wrote the service using the protocol spec published by TSL, I couldn't get it to work with Dashboard until I removed the SCREEN bytes and sent everything as big endian (the spec says it's supposed to be little endian). Can someone confirm for me that the Dashboard Tally Service is actually doing the right thing and that it works with acual TSL UMD v5 equipment? (I don't have access to any other than Dashboard).

    We are looking into the implementation details of the TSL 5.0 support now. Most testing has been with TSL 3.1 as it is a much more widely-supported version of the protocol.
