Facility Control

I have been working to set up Panasonic PTZ (AW-HE40) on Dashboard to control and monitor remotely. Controlling PTZ is working on DashBoard panel but IP video is disappeared at all on web browser on DashBoard panel.
I've used this command; http://192.168.0.10/cgi-bin/mjpeg?resolution=640x360&framerate=30&quality=1 (IP address is indicated of PTZ.)
This is working on Google Chrome, but not working on DashBoard web browser panel.
Anyone knows this? Please help me..

Hi Sang-bok Kang,

I suggest try swapping-out the <browser/> for a <webget/> as it uses a browser implementation similar to Chrome.

First, open your Dashboard browser Panel.

Second, go to Edit mode and double click the browser widget.

Third, go to the source tab in the pop up Edit Component windows where you can see the source code of the widget, then you can swapping-out <browser/> for <webget/>.

Hi Mr. Kang,

Can you open Notepad and create html file on your Desktop called test.html, and put an "img" tag inside it.......

img src="http 192.168.0.10/cgi-bin/mjpeg?resolution=640x360&framerate=30&quality=1"

(need to put < and > sign beginning and end, and :// after http - the forum doesn't allow me to type it)

Then, delete the Dashboard grid and create new one, add Browser component, set the URL of the browser component to "file:///C:/Users/username/Desktop/test.html". Need to replace "username". with your user's folder name.

Maybe it will work? Hopefully...

Hi All

Sorry for the delayed response but it took me a few days to get video sources and protocol information to investigate this. It would appear that M-JPEG is not supported by the browser we embed inside of DashBoard.

Support for M-JPEG varies from browser to browser and has required extensions on top of the embedded version of Internet Explorer and added beyond the base implementation of WebKit that Chrome, Safari, and DashBoard share.
