Facility Control

As a complete noobie to DASHBoard, I am hoping to develop two versions; one for interfacing with XPression and a second version to interface with vMIX. I am tackling the vMIX side first as XPRession is on the laptop in the truck, not currently available.

I want to develop a DASHBoard much like Captain graphics. What/where do I enter the command

http://127.0.0.1:8088/api/?Function=Fade&Duration=1000 to have this command function with vMIX.?

I think if I was armed with this information I could proceed. Thanks in advance

Create  a button, add a task to the button. Under the right pane go to ogScript --> Communication --> HTTP Post.

Enter "http://127.0.0.1:8088/api/?Function=Fade&Duration=1000" in the url and null into the data and callback fields.

Should work.

Or if you want to do it on the scripting side:

ogscript.asyncPost("http://127.0.0.1:8088/api/?Function=Fade&Duration=1000 ",null, null);

Now armed with that knowledge I can proceed.
