I just installed Dashboard on Linux as we'll be upgrading to a Ross switcher early next year.  I've been watching some of the Dashboard U training videos and he has a lot of widgets like text entry, etc. that are missing from my version.  Is there a widget pack that I need to install or something similar that I'm missing?

    Hi Scott,

This is definitely not working as expected, is there any chance you could provide a little more detail? Are you running a 32bit or 64bit  linux? If you could provide a screenshot that would help greatly.

It might help to verify the correct type of panel is created as some panels will not contain the same range of options in edit mode. For example when creating a new custom panel the "Blank Self-Contained Data Source Panel" should be showing all of the widgets while "Empty Canvas" will show less options.

The panel type was the problem.  I created a new self-contained data source panel and all of the widgets appeared.
