I have tria in the the devices and parameters but the commands dont trigger the tia.  I can control the tria via it's panel in dashboard frame.

Which commands are you attempting to execute? Could you send the source code of your panel or button?

Sorry for the delay.  I am able to make a play, stop & unload button.  The issue I am having is the load function.  I can load a clip from the root folder, but am having a issue with loading from a folder.  In the visual logic I am using the load clip block with the "folder name\clip name" in the clip variable (just as it shows in the tria).  If I move said clip out of the folder I can load the clip.

    Hi Josh

Can you try putting a second "\" character after the folder name? A single backslash is an escape character and is used to provide things like newline '\n', tab '\t', etc. To have it actually treated as a backslash by the system it needs to be '\\'.

Please let me know if this helps.

    Cheers

    James

The load command takes in the whole path name of the clip. If you're fetching the data from the clip_list parameter, make sure to get it from path_name, not clip_name.

It also takes an integer as the channel, so if you're passing a letter (A, B, C, etc) as the "Channel" argument, that could also be why it isn't working.

    James Peltzer

That was it.  Just needed the \\ to get it to work.  Thank you.
