For the lazy people out there..  :)

We have DashBoard Version 8.3.1 installed, and we have quite a few extensive panels. My question is will updating to this new release cause any problems to our already existing panels? Thanks.

Hi Roger! One thing that you'll immediately notice is that DashBoard 9.0 released with a new UI theme. If you applied any styles (colors to buttons, changes to font colors) to your CustomPanels, you'll probably see some very interesting effects when you open the panels in our latest version. If you're not interested in updating your panels to look good in the new theme "Aura", you can switch back to the same theme you're currently using by changing the selected theme in DashBoard: Windows > Preferences > General > Theme > Select Classic. 

Functionally, DashBoard should work exactly the same way it always has. We have made some performance improvements in our latest releases, so although things will work the same way, they may be faster.

If you are at all concerned about backward compatability, you can always copy your exising DashBoard folder (c:\DashBoard) to a backup folder (like c:\DashBoard80) before doing the installation.   Once you are happy with that the new one does not break anything, then you can get rid of the backup.
