  • 1.  Blackstorm Playlist question.__Can 2 playlist be played at the same time?

    Posted 10-21-2015 22:12
We are looking at making a playlist in Ch. 1.... this will go to input 11 of the carbonite.

We then will have a playlist in Ch. 2, of different clips,.... this will go to input 12 of the carbonite.

    NO ALPHA CHANNELS.

Can we trigger both of these playlist at the same time?

Can Blackstorm play out of each of it's output each of the separate playlist at the same time?

    Will there be performance issues?

    Thank you.

    Anthony

We are also interested in performing this situation. Anthony, are you currently able to trigger server channels 1 and 2 independently from the Carbonite via the "Cue" and "Play" commands? I am currently only able to control Channel 1 of the Blackstorm via the AMP command on the Carbonite. Curious if you were able to find a solution to trigger both or might be able to offer some assistance. Hopefully you receive some help to resolve your problem soon.

    Thanks,

    Adam

I am wanting to do the same thing. I spoke with Tech Support this week and it is not a feature of Blackstorm. I tried playing both channels with a macro but the channels were off. I also tried setting channel two off by a couple of frames since the command is not simultaneous. This sort of worked but the videos tended to drift over time.

When you assign the XPTs to use the Device there is an Option for setting the channel number. You might have setup the XPT for channel 2 to control channel 1 still if you did not change the channel to 2 in the option.
