  • 1.  Exporting an AVI and not playing on desktop

    i have a record of our recent commencement that I would like to export from the Media Manger, however when i get it on my PC (Win System 7) and run it indicates audio incompatible.

    plays fine on the sms itself. first time trying so probably doing something simple wrong. Any help would be great appreciated..

    You might need to install the Software Codec package on your other PC.

    Contact Tech Support at 613-652-4886 and ask them to send you a link to download it. I am not sure where to get it -- sorry.

    Les is correct with requiring the codec package installed on the local machine.

    The codec package only coveres video decoding, so there may still be issues with audio inside Windows media Player.

    I can help you resolve that as well if this does not work.
