  • 1.  Where is the mac software to run BlackStorm on a mac through Dashboard?

    "DASHBOARD CONTROL SYSTEM

    The BlackStorm user interface runs

    within the multi-platform DashBoard

    Control System and will run on a PC or

    Mac computer."

    The software did not come in a Mac version, only PC. Am I missing something? I am able to connect to the BlackStorm through a mac via Dashboard, but can not get the user interface to "run within it". Any info I am missing?

    (BTW, newbie!)

    Hi Chris,

    The Mac version of Dashboard can be downloaded here:

    Once installed, Can you see the your Blackstorm server show up in the tree-view window on the Left of the screen? (it may show up as "Unknown device", the first time). The Blackstorm Server Plug-in for Dashboard will be needed at this point. The manual walks through the steps required to do this (Chapter 2 - Software Set-up).

    Hello Chris,

    Yes, I got Dashboard on the Mac and it "sees" the Blackstorm. I got all the way to the part of where "The Blackstorm Server Plug-in for Dashboard will be needed at this point." The manual does not say where to get the plug-in for a mac. I checked the downloads section for the Blackstorm, and there are no downloads there (minus the manuals). The software cd that came with the Blackstorm only has .exe files which are PC only. Is there some place I can download the plug-in from?
