Video Servers & Replay Systems​

Hello there,

We are a local community channel in MB Canada and we are looking at Mira product line to replace our existing replay system and at the same time we are looking at the Tria to playback clips.  We aren't allowed to do true advertising so we can't dedicate a ton of money to a dedicated playback server, however on the other side we do a lot of sports and definitely can justify a better replay system.

We heard a rumour that if you had a Mira and two control surfaces that you could use the Mira to playback clips at the same time, therefore maybe not needing the dedicated Tria for playback.

Our question is - Is this true?

Hi Brad,
You can use the Mira for replay and clip playback, especially if you have 2 control panels, making them separate so 1 person could do replay and the other do clip playback. Also, the Mira is very user-friendly and straightforward, making it pretty easy to learn. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick response!!  That's what we kinda figured by watching the videos, but just wanted to make sure before we spent a ton of time looking at it and then to come and find out it didn't.  

We shouldn't have seconded guessed Ross Video products as we own a few already but just wanted to make sure the money was spent wisely!!

Brad, I should also mention 2 control panels work with Mira+, not Mira Express.
