It would be awesome if the LTC from input would be embedded onto program outputs. Don't know if that's a simple software based fix, or more a hardware issue.

No it is not an "easy" fix in software. That will require some hardware. I will make sure we add it to the consideration list for future products.

Can you elaborate on why you would want this? Is it because the devices you are using to Record do not have an LTC input? Also do note that many of the Digital based file recorders will blank the Ancillary Data and thus also kill off VITC. So I am curious what product your using that will record the VITC and keep it in the Vertical.

Yes, I was wanting it for capture devices (Decklink cards, etc) that do not have LTC inputs. I was actually making the assumption that if the VITC was there, then the capture software (Final Cut or Media Express) would make use of it - but in looking around to find confirmation, it appears that they won't use it anyway.

So, maybe it's a lost cause even if it was supported by Ross.
