I just tried to upgrade my Carbonite to version 9.1 and it failed. Now the switcher is unresponsive. Is there anyway to retry the upgrade without going through the switcher interface?

There is a button in the frame labelled upgrade. Turn the switcher off. Hold that button down. Keep holding while you power up the switcher. Keep it held until the upgrade led turns on. Should be about 10 seconds max.

The system will then do a forced upgrade.

At this point if your having to do a forced upgrade your fine to go to 9.1

It doesn't seem to be working. I have the flash drive in the frame and am holding the upgrade button while turning on the switcher. The switcher says "Booting, please wait..." but that's all the happens. I don't see an upgrade led anywhere.

The upgrade LED is in the chassis to the right with all the other LEDs.

Tech support is free and can be called 24/7. I would recommend calling them for assistance as this definitely under the category of urgent support.

I guess that the thumb drive has to be a Fat32 formatted drive? Is this correct? This is the only thing that i could find was giving me trouble when performing this upgrade.
