Anyone happen to know how to configure Acuity for retrieving router Mnemonics from the Evertz 7700-SC-BRC, if it is possible anyway.

We have cutsheets for router control on our website. Try the link below that provides the instructions for loading .cvs router tables to the frame.

If you need further assistance with the setup feel free to send me an email directly

I did make this work. You will need to connect the serial port of the BRC card to a switcher panel serial port. You can configure according to the cut sheet, however, the sheet is somewhat misleading in that you CAN move mnemonics from router to switcher. This actually works well. Be sure to select the probel SWP08 protocol on each end.

In magnum, you will need to setup the BRC interface. This is where you can select which name set goes to the switcher.

From the BRC card in Vistalink you will need to setup the third-party config tab to talk to your router in the router-transport section, and then set the control transport section for the switcher. Protocol: probelSWP08, Type: Serial (UART 1), Baud: 38400, Data bits: 8, Parity: None, Stop bits: 1, standard RS422. ip address and port will be blank. Be sure to set the size and levels of your router.

Under third-party control status you should have two green indicators, and you should see router names on the right. Now, you can setup the ross side according to the cut-sheet. When you select a router source button, you should be presented with the named sources. If you change names on the Evertz side, you can press refresh sources to get the new names.

Something like an Image Video or Magnum Tally would be immensely helpful in this situation.
