• 1.  Possible Power Supply Status Bug...?

Posted 03-27-2016 16:15
For some reason (and I think it is a software bug) the temperature status on two of my power supplies (frame supplies) cannot be read.

The power supplies are getting adequate air-flow and I believe operating according to manufacturer specifications. However, the temperature status is showing: "--[SUP]o[/SUP]C"

...Which reminds me, can we get the ability to select between "Celsius" and "Fahrenheit"? Please...?

Thank you in advance for the response(s)....

Contact tech support as they can determine about a software upgrade process and possible swap of the supplies if they are not able to read properly. No we can not have a Fahrenheit reading. All of the specs of the components and systems are done in Celsius as such we need to maintain that for display.

Les:

Thanks for the reply. I will contact technical support regarding the power supplies.

As for the Fahrenheit reading, even me saying "pretty please" won't further my cause? Oh well, I guess I have to learn the Celsius tolerance and keep that in mind!

Sincerely,
Fletcher

Fletcher -- Just ask Siri to convert it for you :) Also when the switcher is getting to be 10 C from the Threshold it will Warn you and it will notify you that will have to shutdown if it exceeds this temperature. For those readings your talking 85C on the FPGA Die.
