Hi Kent, thats quite straight forward. To do it you use an effects dissolve between memories. So simply put the DVE in the first position and save a memory, then set the second position and save to another memory. Ideally you should set the 'Store' recall Attribute to 'EffDiss' and determine a 'Rate', then set the 'Recall' attribute to 'Memory' so that EffDiss only applies to the chosen memory location.
Once set simply recall the first position memory and when you recall the second the DVE will move at the rate set to the second position. If you are using DashBoard you can set the memory attributes via the live assist UI very simply but you need V7.2 Software to do that (downloadable from the site). The Memory Attribute controls are incredibly powerful and take a little time to get used to, but learning them is very worthwhile.
If you wish you can then setup a custom control macro to recall the memories from a button on a custom control bank.
