So I loaded a new Media wipe into the Carbonite (v7.2) switcher, built a custom Control to recall, and wipe to preview on MLE2. However, once I save it to disk, a portion of the CC does NOT get saved. If I reload the custom controls, four steps are missing. After several different ways of building the CC and saving, it still does not save the four steps. Below is my CC step by step, italics are my comments on what that step does, and the BOLD steps are the ones that do NOT get saved.

GP4 Trigger recall Lance Controller 000

Pause 15fr for trigger to take effect

MLE2 Trans Media sets up for transition

Media 2+4 U1.062 recalls the new media wipe, it is only 23f long

Media Direction sets the replay direction - 2 CC use same Media for Replay In/Replay Out

MLE2 Auto Trans run the media wipe

    Pause 5fr

GPO2 Trigger Play Lance Controller Clip

    Pause 15fr

    Pause 30fr

MLE2 Trans Dissolve Resets transition to Dissolve

Any reason why it would not save? I asked about the Targa sequence, and it is saved the same way as the others previously used on the switcher.

    Thanks

    Hi Brian,

I see that your post was from a few days ago so apologies for the delay.

I created your macro here on a machine (running 7.3) and it saved and recalled without issue, i haven't tried it on 7.2 but I don't see why it wouldn't save. Are you able to save and load switcher settings ok?

I have seen several cases where the file system becomes corrupted on thumb drives when they are plugged and unplugged from windows pc's. they appear to be working correctly but aren't really. This could be a corrupted file system, if you plug the USB into a PC does it give you any error messages?

I'll test the USB drive when I get on the truck on Friday and will let you know how that turns out. Thanks for getting back to me.
