    I need to know why after I load my files in the media store and I turn off the swithcher I have to upload the files again.

    There is any form that after I upload the files and are ready in the media store, the files be there all the time no matter if I turn off the switcher let me know

    Hi Charles,

    The Media Store is a RAM Cache. It uses the USB as the Storage medium and then loads the files into cache as they are requested. If you turn off the switcher power to the RAM is lost and thus the media store will be empty when you power back up.

    Hi Brian,

    There is no hard drive. You use the USB port to plug in a USB Drive -- this could be a 2.5 inch usb powered portable drive -- you can now get 1TB version of these. That is your "Storage location".

    You can even FTP into it over the network so that you don't need to remove it to add more media to it. Just FTP to the ip address of the switcher and use the username user and the password password. You will then be able to select USB and access the drive.
