  • 1.  DVE memory recall / key setting lost

    Hi,

I am trying to save and recall DVE key with the eff diss and this is working good except for one little thing : when i recall my DVE , the position setting change a little and I have to recall it a second time to have it at the right place ( let say the X position is set to 100, when i recall it the position is now 99.6 and i have to recall a second time to have it to 100 ) . Since im doing it while on air the result is not acceptable , is there something that i can do to solve this ?

Also when we shutdown the switcher during transport , when we start it again all my keyer setting and crosspoint / wipe setting with border are gone . I have tried saving a macro with the of the switcher but it doesnt seem to work, do i have to store a memory with everything on every time or is there a setting to change on the switcher ( before the 8.0 upgrade it also happen that we lost the output setting of the switcher sometimes )

    thank

    Phil

    Philippe:

Which switcher are you using? - I may be able to help more but for now......

Reference your DVE moving a little bit:

Sounds to me as if you may not have attributes set correctly.. Look at page 41

    Memory Attributes - Page 41

As for the second half of your questions - Read page 57 To Save a Custom Reset Setting

Sounds like your setup recalling the Factory Defaults thus, changing your settings.

I personally save all my shows and settings on MY USB along with the USB that stays with each truck I am on, that way if someone before me happens to mess things up I can quickly reload from my USB all my settings for the desired truck / switcher combination.

You can assign a "default RState" in the Reset menu including Aux Bus and Media Stores. Set the switcher up exactly how you would like it to look after a reboot. Then go into the Reset Menu and set which Aux buses will reset and also the Media (if you enable these then what ever is there when you hit the Save RState Button will be what recalls) so that they will recall or not recall.

Now on a reboot or when you hold down MENU and then PRESS RESET you will "recall" the R State of the switcher.
