Production Switchers

Is it possible to make an Overdrive template that will allow a double box to a chrome key effect in one side of the box and a camera shot on the other? We would like to double box to our weather wall.

We have a Vision 3 MLEs Vision 12.1a, and Overdrive 9.3

For this effect, you will utilize the clean feed as well. Assuming you already have your clean feeds set up for MLE 1 and 2. First build your chroma key effect on key 1. Then in key 2, use auto select key and key your double box background. In key 3 you will build your 2 channel DVEs for your boxes. Select a studio camera for the first box, and for the second box, the clean feed of that MLE.

If your box background is a keyable background, i.e. with two hole cut out and need to cover over the boxes, just reverse the keys n key 2 and 3.

When I get to Key 3 and try to select that MLE bus' clean feed I get the error "You cannot select xpt as it would create a feedback loop" Is there away around this?

On the switcher's touchscreen, go to home/more/setup/personality. Scroll to "Re-entry Loop" and turn it on. This will allow you to take the clean feed as a source.
