  • 1.  Enabling MiniMEs in Version 8

    I've just upgraded to version 8 and I'm looking to enable MiniMes. I am unable to find where to do this either in Dashboard or from the panel. Can someone assist?

    You can set them up in the menus. From page 34 of the setup manual:

    DVE/FSFC Resources (Carbonite Frame Only)

    The Carbonite frame can support a limited number of DVE channels, FSFCs, and MiniMETM outputs. The switcher must be rebooted to switch between the two resource modes.

  • Press MENU>SYSTEM>NEXT>NEXT>

    • NEXT > NEXT.
  • Use the D/F/M knob to select the reesource mode.

    • 8/0/4 "” provides 8 channels of DVE, 0 FSFC resources, and 4 MiniMETM resources
    • 4/6/0 "” provides 4 channels of DVE, 6 FSFC resources, and 0 MiniMETM resources

  • Press D/F/M > Reboot to apply the changed.

    • The switcher reboots to apply the changes to the resources.
