Production Switchers

Hi all,

I'm endeavoring to build a simple Custom Control that would serve as a "generic" Wipe for Preview/Program.

My intent is to use one of our DVE "Squeeze & Tease" Wipes (Lens Flare) as the Transition, but every time I try to build the Custom Control, all I create is a Cut.

... Any guesses as to where I went wrong? Thanks for any/all help! :)

So normally you build it like the following



Select DVE Trans Type
(use keypad to enter DVE Wipe Number -- this way you get the specific lens flare wipes)
Enter effect duration (ME trans rate) ie 20 frames
Pause for say 2 frames
press the ME Auto Trans Button
Pause for the ME Trans rate Duration + at least 1 frame (so would be 21)
press the Bkgd button and then Dissolve Button (I do this so that the transition area always goes back to a "know state")
reset ME trans rate to default
