  • 1.  Graphics/alpha 1 line off

    Posted 01-02-2014 16:20
We are running and vision tritium switcher with a ross xpression 2 channel graphics system and for some reason the graphic is 1 line off on the bottom? We have verified sync, checked the graphic, etc. What i mean by 1 line off is that when the graphic is being keyed over something you see behind it through what looks like 1 line.

    thoughts? settings? ideas?

    thanks

    Hi Scott,

What are you using for Reference? TriLevel or Black Burst? Also what video mode are you working in?

    Les,

We are using black burst for reference and we are working in 1920x1080i.

    Hi Scott,

Okay so you need to go into the hardware setup of the XPression and then go to the physical output cards.

Click on them so they bring up the board configuration.

On the reference tab use these settings:

Vertical to -2 and then set the Horizontal anywhere between 8000ns and like 37000ns. You will get them to line up just fine.

    Les,

That did not fix the problem. I did verify though, we are using hd sync via tri level. in xpression reference config menu it says blackburst for sync and then i selected the format to be 1920x1o80 reference. Could this be a setting in the vision? i can see the reference line move but vertical -2 doesn't do anything.

    thanks

Okay if your using Trilevel sync then you need to just set the Vertical to 1124. Horizontal to 0 and you will be fine.
