  • 1.  PTZ Camera Control?

    Posted 04-08-2014 21:46
I read in the literature that our Carbonite should be able to control remote PTZ cameras. If we have a few Panasonic AW-HE120 PTZ cameras on the same network, can I build a panel in panel builder that can allow for some control of those cameras? Or if this capability specific to Ross (or other company's) hardware and is it a optional license we need to purchase to make it work? Just wondering. Thanks

    Hi Grant,

Sony Visca, Ross Cambot and Canon BU protocols are currently the only ones supported.

The DashBoard Plugin which will do the Serial Visca from the switcher to IP Visca or Panasonic IP protocol directly requires a purchased license.  It is not free.
