    We are currently trying to record a program from our switcher to our video editing machine. the only problem is that it only records in 4:3. is there anyway to set up one of the AUX controls to compress our 16:9 output to 4:3?

    Hi Trenton,

    No there is no ARC ability for the outputs. You will need to add an external device that letter boxes or crops the image for you before it goes to the recorder.

    Ok thanks. I figured out how to do it. I set one of my keys to MLE1 and changed the aspect to 37.5% so that when edit the video we just have to horizontally stretch to correct it back to 16:9. I'm not to fond of compressing and stretching HD video but at least it's a nice cheap way. Thank you for your input though
