Is there any way to require a double press to change the custom control bank instead of a single press? For example, if I press key1 with a single press, it changes the custom control bus to the key select. This can be a pain in the show to have to hit the bank bus to get back to the custom controls by selecting a key during normal use.

If you mean when selecting the Keyers in the next teams area then there is a setting under Personality Menu -- Trans Area -- in there set to NO FOLLOW and you will nonlonger have this issue. The delegation bus will only change when you select and aux or key sel button on the assignment row. The Trans area will have no impact on the delegation bus any longer.
