Production Switchers

Less I have in my system a Hyper Deck Black Magic and the output of the SDI HD signal include the audio embedded, I need to know if the Carbonite 2 can use this signal without problem with the audio embedded.

Let me know if that can be use if let me know if the SDI signal after pass of the carbonite switch it will continue with the embedded audio signal.

yes you can set the Carbonite to pass the audio. Note that if you enable a Frame Sync that will strip all Ancillary Data including the Horizontal which includes the Audio.

The audio on the BKGD bus source is what we pass. An Aux out would pass the audio of the source selected. You will hear a click or pop if you are switching between sources as production switchers don't have an audio mixers built into them.
