Production Switchers

What am I doing wrong here? When I startup dashboard (either 5.1 or 6.0) I can access the OPenGear frames in my system but when I try to access the Carbonite via manually typing in its I.P address I get "... error detecting device attributes. Please verify that a the device is online, located at 192.168.0.55 and running software version 2.0 of higher."

I have been able to access the Carbonite via Chrome and can get to the Media Manager area in the web browser but Dashboard just doesn't seem to be working.

I just updated the Carbonite software to 7.3. I know this is something simple. Thanks.

Also, on a completely separate note - running 7.2 in the Carbonite I changed the mnemonic of "PGM" to read "OB PGM" and on the display on the control surface it completely wigged out and began showing "BG" instead. Tried to change the it back but i then got further issues - something to try and repeat I guess as an error.

He Leigh,

Don't click on the Detect Settings button after you have entered the IP address. Instead press the Finish button at the bottom and it will add to the browser and work for you.

I was having this same problem.

I tried your suggestion Les, but after inputting the ip address, it doesn't reveal the "finish" button.

running DB 6.0 and carbonite 7.3.2

Any other suggestions?

Chris sounds like you adding a manual connection under the general tab.

under the open gear tab you add the TCP/IP openGear Frame. Enter the IP address of the switcher.
