Production Switchers

I want to connect a transition graphic between my xpression always loaded file and our vision 3 switcher. I know how to get the graphic into the file and number it, but how do I connect the global store to the number I've given the graphic?

Did you make a transition in XPression that you exported over and loaded into the Global Store? In the Properties of the Media Item of the Global Store you can Rename/Renumber it. However that should not matter as when you build a Custom Control you can just select the animation.

The transition graphic was made in after effects and imported to XPression. It's a station logo wipe that is in the project folder in XPression. I have a macro for this type of transition I just not sure how to insert a new number to connect it to the global store.

In xpression has nothing to do with the Global store you can not load from the XPression into your global store. You would need to export it to PNG or TGA and transfer into the Switcher Hard drive so that you can load it into the Global Store.

Are you trying to run it off of the XPression from the switcher -- and then Key the XPression channel over top in say Key 4? If that is the case then you need to tell me first what form off communication your using with the XPression -- is it RossTalk or are you using VDCP? My guess would be RossTalk since your loading these as TakeIDs.
