I would like to ask if it is possible to to key two bugs on a single keyer. When I try to auto key I get a prompt that states the switcher can't find source key channels.

    Hi Peter,

First off you can only use one key source per keyer, however if the source can generate the bugs on layers then you could achieve this. We can do this with our XPression graphics system.

It also sounds like you do not have the alpha channel of the source assigned to the fill source. When you choose and autoselect key it will automatically take the alpha channel source when you select the fill - provide that it has been setup to do so.

To associate an alpha channel with the fill input...

    1. Navigate to the BNC Menus as follows:

    "¢ Press HOME

So I lost half of that reply, here is the rest...

    1. Navigate to the BNC Menus as follows:

    "¢ Press HOME >More>Setup> Installation>BNC.

    2. Press Auto Key Setup on the BNC Menu 1-3

Now you can scroll to the fill input in the top window, and scroll in the window below to select the associated alpha channel.

You may have to set the BNC input type for the cut signal to Alpha if you havent done so already.

Thank you, my alpha channels are fine. I was just attempting the split key, and noticed the key channels do not work in that situation. I was just working on a work around.
