Hello, everybody. My friend would like to know if there's a way to bring up two keys on one button. He might just be lazy, but I think he has somewhat legitimate reasoning for wanting to do this. The show this is for is election night, so fast replies are the best.

I don't have Vision, but the way I would do it is make a custom control to bring two keys up at once. That's not two inputs on one key though.

Well two questions here. Does he want "2 Boxes" or is he looking to do 2 linear/luma or 2 chroma keys?

Using Key combiner it is possible to use a single Keyer for 2 box effects -- either press the channel management button then turn on the second channel or you can use the quick short cut by holding down PST PATT and pressing Fly Key while the first channel is active as a PST Pattern Fly Key type.

If what he wants is 2 linear/luma or Chroma Key types then he will have to use two separate keyers. In version 14 the Layered mode feature was added(you do require the 4 Keyer Vid Proc for this) and you are able to now use an MLE to create a composited alpha and video for the two or more keys and then select them as a linear key inside of another keyer in the switcher.

The other method would be to "link" the keyers together in an MLE -- under Personality--More -- Autofollows -- You are able to just link the Keyers together but leave everything else alone -- that way when you use the keyer Auto Trans it can have the other operate at the same time (again you will need version 14.1 or later and a 4 Keyer Vid Proc for this to work correctly)
