I saw a Ross post on social media about packaging Overdrive and the Graphite. That's a great idea.

In that combined system or hopefully the current Graphite system, is it possible to utilize a SideCar instead of the Carbonite panel or attach SideBox modules to the existent Carbonite panel? Maybe replace the wasted space where the big Ross logo and joystick are? Since the USB only powers and doesn't connect to the frame, that space could be better utilized. It would be fantastic to have physical audio faders available and crosspoints/buttons that are more user friendly than utilizing the keyer row for CC recall.

So Overdrive now supports Graphite. OverDrive Server runs on a Server Chassis. Yes with OverDrive you can support the SideBox and SideSlide. Note that with all Carbonites you have always been able to attach a SideBox to the unit directly and have access to Bank 1-4 and CC 1-24.

Replacing space with other Buttons will drive up the cost significantly -- that is why we have Carbonite and Acuity. If you want more dedicated Buttons and Displays we have a product for that in a more expensive offering -- because it's the Buttons and Mnemonics that drive up the cost. That SideShot Module with the 28 Buttons on it is 6K.
